Miscellaneous Coverages
Additional lines of coverage offered by Your Insurance Specialists:
Condo or Townhome Insurance – In most cases the HOA stops after the exterior walls meaning you are responsible for the interior to cover protection for theft, vandalism, fire damage, water damage, and more.
Renters Insurance – Renters insurance is an insurance policy that can cover theft, water backup damage, certain natural disasters, bodily injuries and more in a rented property. If you rent an apartment, home or even a dorm, renters’ insurance is recommended for protecting your space and belongings in the event of a covered accident.
Personal Umbrella – A personal umbrella policy is called an “umbrella” policy because it provides liability coverage over and above your standard auto insurance or homeowners insurance. It offers protection for you and family in your household against large and potentially devastating liability claims or judgments
Motorcycle – Motorcycle insurance covers bodily injury and property damage, medical payments, uninsured/underinsured motorists, crashes, and other things.
RV, Camper, & Travel Trailer – This includes damage from vandalism, theft, failing objects, fire, storms, floods and certain other natural disasters. RV coverage helps protect you against drivers who don’t have liability insurance or lack the money to pay for injuries and damages they cause to you, your passengers or your RV
Antique or Classic Car Coverage – A special type of auto coverage to help protect high-value vehicles such as muscle cars, hot rods, vintage military vehicles and exotic or luxury vehicles.
Boat or Boatowners Insurance – Boat insurance may help cover a motorboat, sailboat, or personal watercraft if it’s stolen, in an accident, or damaged by a covered peril like fire or lightning. Boat insurance may also help protect you if you accidentally injure someone or damage their property with your boat.
ATV, Off-Road, & Snowmobile Coverage – ATV/UTV insurance is built to protect you and your off-road vehicle, whether you ride an ATV, UTV, or side-by-side. And while many states do not require insurance for ATV, UTV and similar off-road vehicles, it may be required at certain private trails and parks where you plan to ride. Also, because these types of vehicles are typically ridden on rough terrain, comprehensive and collision coverage may help repair your off-road vehicle if you run into the unexpected.
Landlord or Rental Property Coverage – Landlord insurance is a policy for someone who rents out a home they own. This type of insurance typically includes two different types of coverage: property and liability protection. Both coverages are intended to help protect you, the landlord, from financial losses.
Manufacture or Mobile Home Insurance – Mobile home insurance, also known as manufactured home insurance, is much like a standard homeowners insurance policy in the sense that it provides financial protection in the event that your home is damaged.
Flood Insurance – Flood insurance usually is a separate policy designed to help protect your home and belongings if they are damaged in a flood. Standard property insurance policies, such as homeowners’ insurance, typically do not cover flood damage.
Home Warranty – Home warranties cover your home’s internal components — such as systems and home appliances — in the event of damage from everyday wear and tear. The most comprehensive home warranty plans often include coverage for appliances like free-standing ice machines, trash compactors, ceiling fans, and jetted bathtub motors and pumps. Others may even include limited roof or pest control coverage.
Pet Insurance – In general, most pet insurance plans cover unexpected injuries/accidents, unexpected illnesses, surgery, medication, tests/diagnostics, and emergency care and exam fees.
Event Insurance – Event insurance helps protect you from liability in case someone injures themselves or damages the venue’s property.
Liquor Liability – Liquor liability insurance helps protect businesses that sell, serve, or distribute alcohol. This type of business insurance can help cover claims of bodily injury or property damage that an intoxicated customer causes after a company served them alcohol.
